I hope everyone has stayed safe and well during the recent pandemic and will continue to be by following the guidelines in place to assure your safety as well as your loved ones.
We are so thankful we are entering a phase that if followed, should get us all through safely and place an end to limited socialization and distancing.
Though I doubt life will return as we knew it, we can make it by adapting and taking precautions.
Sorry for the delay in notification on our “Opening Status.” We weren’t sure if when would be able to due to another mandated postponement and was just as unsure if we could meet the stipulations and standards required to open.
Since Friday, the staff and I have been working diligent and nonstop preparing the facility in accordance to the mandate. Though we still have a few items pending, we are in compliance and ready to roll!
We have to temporarily suspend a few of our services and amend a few others as mandated. There will be no towel service, so please remember to bring one.
We are not allowed to let members shower, use the saunas or hydro massage bed till either the second stage of phase 3 or the 4th phase, which ever is mandated.
In the cardio area you are to occupy every other machine and in the weight areas for are to try to keep a distance of 6 feet with masks, 18 without.
There will be no indoor classes allowed, again till the 2nd phase of 3 or the beginning of the 4th, whichever they mandate.
I am meeting with instructors this week to work on outside classes until then. We also have virtual classes which you are welcomed to take utilizing one of the three studios. There will be no live spin, only virtual.
Ashley will still offer her virtual classes in addition to teaming up with Zac Greenleaf, a personal trainer at the club. They will be offering a specialty class twice a week. Details to follow.
No personal items are to be left at the gym or stored so please keep them with you and take them with you when leaving. Please do not ask staff to hold them for you or place them behind the front desk. They can not at this current time.
You must wash your hands, I believe the recommendation is every 20 minutes. You must clean whatever you utilize and touch thoroughly. Masks are recommended at all times, though I personally believe if your keeping the 6 feet rule, you just need to have them on when passing someone.
If you perspire excessively doing cardio, we ask that you bring an extra workout shirt to change into before hitting the weight areas.
